I'm still here after all these weeks....had vacation time with hubby...9 days to be exact and some life changing decisions to make. Purging out the negative in my life and that included some people I considered friends but realized NOT!
My life is too precious to wast!!
I've had to make some other decisions and that news will be coming shortly.
My life has had some twists and turns the past 20 months. Some great and some not so great but we take the good with the bad...that's how we grow and learn.
With that positive attitude I guess there's only one thing to do and that's to move ahead and look for wonderful blessings!
Thanks for listening♥

Simple FD card
This is the Father's Day card I made for hubby.
I used kraft card stock from Hobby Lobby, layered with black card stock. I took a piece of cream card stock and embossed it with the Tim Holtz "Patchwork" embossing folder, sprayed it with my homemade gold and copper glimmer mist and cut just this portion out for the side. I then glued 2 of the "Umbrella Man" dies offsetting them a bit. The black border on the right is from my EK success "Scalloped Circle Chain" punch. I used two different label makers for the "Happy Father's Day".
For the inside, I used Spellbinders Label 22 to layer the black and kraft card stock. The letters are all punched out of a cuttlebug die called "Love Language".
Simple but special!

Early Father's Day gift!
An early Father's Day gift.......it turned out just the way I hoped it would.
It's a metal framed art piece I made. This is his favorite praise and worship song "It Is Well With My Soul"
I cut two pieces of matt board and glued them together to fit inside the frame. I them glued the different size and shape chipboard letters to the board...staggering them to fit and give it character. I then randomly glued down some plastic webbing not quite sure what the technical name for it is. After that, I used metal flashing tape that I purchased at Walmart to cover the entire board.
Once all the tape is down I used the end of some paint brushes to detail all the letters and the webbing. I don't have the larger ball stylus at this time so I improvised and used what I had on hand.
Once all the tape is secure and detailed I painted the entire board with black acrylic paint...then used baby wipes to remove much of the paint but left enough to accent here and there.
The frame I purchased at a tag sale for $1.00 and sprayed it with grey primer...then I accented it here and there with silver rub in buff. I then let it sit over night to dry and then sprayed both pieces with gloss sealer.
I couldn't wait till Sunday so I had to give it to him last night....he was so surprised!
I thank God for my crafty talent and consider myself so blessed to have a hubby who loves whatever I create for him....but this one is at the top of his list....heehee!
Happy Father's Day to my wonderful hubby♥♥

I'm so exicted.....
I can't believe I finally got this stamp set. I know, I know it's an old one but I've been looking for over a year for this at a great deal...I wasn't going to pay $20.00+ for it....no way. I knew if I just had patience I would find it at a price I couldn't pass up and I did....yippeee!
For those that don't know this is an old stamp set from Stampology by Autumn Leaves. Michael's carried it for a long time and I just kept putting it off and then poof they were no more.
You can't believe how much I paid....ok I'll spill the beans....$8.11 including tax and free shipping....score!!
I wanted this in time for scrubby's Father's Day card and it's here....now I'm off to play.
Have a wonderful sunshine, bird singing, wind chiming kind of day♥♥

The package has arrived....
I couldn't post before the pics of my mini album swap piece because my partner hadn't received hers yet...it took almost 2 weeks for it to arrive....but I'm glad it did and here are the pics of what I created......remember I have the pirate camera with the black spot!!!
The whole album is made from one piece of 12x12...score and folded into a 4 pocket mini. This was my first time making I messed up in the folding part so I created a separate cover using the same paper.
The layered flower on the front is from a stamp line called "Outlines" rubber stamps....they were pretty popular awhile back and they make the most beautiful layers & layers.
Each pocket holds tags different tags for the partner to use any way they like.
The paper flower is from the Tim Holtz rosette die.
The last pocket you can see one of my ribbon top clips...I enjoy making these and they are everywhere in my house....no more plain paper clips here...lol!
Here is the card I sent along with a few other goodies I could cram in the package.

Star Card
I had a little play time last night so I made this card....finished it up this morning!
I love everything about it....the shape and the simplicity of creating it.
The paper I used is from an old K & Co. stack...I don't have the name off hand...it was one of my first paper stacks that I purchased and I only have a few sheets left.
The inside had plenty of room for stamping too.
This card has so many possibilities to it....you can use a plain sheet of paper and add layers using other D.P.
Happy Wednesday♥
Noel
PS I forgot to mention that the stamp I used was from Verve Stamps....they are one of the best line of stamps.

Altered Caddy
This is a wood caddy I picked up at a thrift sale last weekend.
It's small enough to sit on my desk without taking up so much room.
I like the division inside...this way everything isn't falling all over and clumped together.
The paper I used is from DCWV "The Garden Tea Party" stack....great papers in this group.
I kept the embellishments simple on the larger side so I wouldn't destroy them when I turn it.
The smaller sides are some what receded so they don't stick out so much. I kept them simple also, I used a piece of Recollections bling in one corner, two brown skeleton leaves behind a satin beaded flower from my wedding veil.
What's old is new again.♥
I then glues flat back pearls all around the edges and the top handle.
One side holds some of my scissors I use often.
The other side holds my tools that I use often too!
It measures 7"x6" and 6" tall.
Not bad for a $1.00!

Swap Mini Album
Thought I'd share the mini album I received from a swap that I was in on FaceBook.
Sorry for the black dot on the left but I'm still using my pirate camera...lol!
This camera still takes the best pictures!
The mini is created using only one sheet of 12x12 double sided paper.
The way you score, cut and fold is how you make the four pocket mini.
It's quite simple...but as always it's the embellishing that takes the most time.
My partner Deb, did a great job on the mini and all the wonderful tags inside.
I'll post pics of the one I made as soon as she receives hers. We mailed them the same day but she hasn't received hers yet. I stuffed the envelope full of goodies so I hope she receives.....probably shouldn't have done that seeing it was going to British Columbia....I just hate to think that someone would take the package but I hear it all the time when I go to the post office of packages being lost for no apparent reason even when there's tracking on it.
