We moved all the big stuff this weekend...I tweekend my back.....not good but as I always say "Ah suck up and deal with it"....ahaahahaha....that's what I'm doing.
We had to give our little Shayla a new home and from what I hear she's doing just fine.
She has three kids to play with and a neighborhood full of playmates too!
I got an email from her new mama saying that she is exhausted from all the playing....that's a good thing....love it!
Well, hope to be back online soon...have to come back to the old house to get on the internet...I can't wait to start doing videos again....I miss everyone.

Another New Storage for Spellbinder Dies

Below is another new storage idea I came up with a couple of weeks ago...just got around to putting labels on them this morning.
I purchased some of the magnetic sheeting for vent covers at Lowes and cut them to fit inside a clear pencil pouch.
The pouches came from Office Depot. They were a back to school special a couple of weeks ago...5 cents each limit 5 at a time...so since hubby worked there he picked me up 5 a day all week......good scrubby!

I love this idea for a few reasons.....they are protected in the pouch, you can fit two per pouch depending on the size of the die....I do have a few that on has one die in them and if your going on a crop you can just take the pouch(s) you need instead of the whole binder.
I have a piece of white card stock behind the pouch below for a better idea as to what it looks like.
Thanks for taking a peak.

Hugs!

New Stamp Storage

Below are pictures of a new stamp storage system that was inspired by Michelle Criswell at Scrappin with my bug she has a video tutorial too.
You can see from the picture below that they are CD/DVD pouches from Office Depot.
They come 10 in a pack for about $8.00 and there's two pouches on each sheet.....this will hold 40 sets of stamps.
I just got these on Friday and still need to label each stamp set if applicable.
Also, you can see from the first picture that I used velcro dots to keep each flap closed. These are the thin ones that I use in minis.....not so bulky.

Hope you enjoyed and feel free to use this yourself.
Thanks again Michelle for the great idea.

Sadness & Blessings

Just wanted to share with you all what has been happening....first we are loosing our home and am in the middle of packing and moving.....which leads to a moving sale that we're getting ready for.
My Dell computer took a dump and we had to go get another laptop.....much cheaper than that nasty Dell was...yeah...so I'm back online. This helps with selling big ticketed items.
The sinus infection I've been fighting for the past three months finally caught up to me this week....yuck...but I'm on the mend and that's a blessing.
That's it for me.
Hope you're all having a wonderful summer.....can't believe next weekend is Labor Day!

HUGS!

I'm planning on doing classes in the clubhouse too so that's a plus too!

Finished mini album

Here is the mini album I've been working on for the past few weeks.
I'm thrilled it turned out so nice. This is only my 3rd one but the first one to put the pictures in myself.
This is a birthday gift for my friend's granddaughter. It's all about her and her people as she calls them...lol!
This is a paper bag mini and I used the medium size pink paper bags from Michael's.
I only used 10 out of the dozen in the pack and it holds almost 100 photos

The cover is two pieces of medium chipboard painted and covered with pretty pattern paper.
The binding is a piece of light weight canvas sprayed with my homemade shimmer paints.
The letters are dimensional stickers I purchased form my LCS as well as the bling in the left hand corner. The flower is one of mine I made...it's in two different purples with a pink jewel in the middle.

This is a top view of the total album....as you can see it's not very thick and it lays fairly flat so I didn't need a closure for it.

Each page has a full picture on it and the center picket has a couple of picture tags as well, except for this one...it has a little mini according fold booklet that you can see below.
Each pocket (bag) has at least 4 photo tabbed mats in them, except for one section which has twice as many in each pocket. The embellishments are kept simple and mostly on the tabs to keep bulk down
This is one side of the mini booklet...there were quite a few pics left with just her in them and so I decided to punch each out using my 1 1/2" scalloped punch, than I ran them through my Xyron sticker maker...it worked out great. I placed some sentiment stickers on each page with the pics for an added touch.
I kept this booklet very simple as well...I needed to keep the bulk down.
The birthday party is this Saturday and proud grandma is very excited to give this to her little one♥

I Finally got a long rolodex address holder for my swap cards......they all fit perfect in there with room for a couple more.
I got it at the Goodwill store for $1.99....now to find the time to decorate it.

Happy Monday to you all!
